Durga Puja Samiti Vienna

Durga puja encapsulates the spirit and culture of Bengalis all over the world. Durga puja is a time of renewal. Parents, children, friends, relatives, strangers, young and old are full of spirit of fellowship and goodwill. Light transforms darkness, hope overcomes despair, and good conquers evil.

Goddess Durga will be with us for five days. We will pray, we will worship, we will fast, we will dance, we will sing, we will cry, we will laugh - we will celebrate. Let us be worthy of her divine presence.
